Bespoke Interiors: A Blend of Colour and Materials
The renovation of this flat in Milan’s Solari district focuses on creating a bespoke interior with a pop-art twist, through targeted work on the kitchen, bathrooms, flooring and furnishings.
Capponi Group acted as general contractor in Milan, coordinating the design, project management and construction to create a contemporary, dynamic space with perfectly balanced details.

The goal was not to radically alter the existing architecture, but to reinterpret its identity through carefully considered material, chromatic, and design choices.
The renovation of the Milan apartment included the creation of a new kitchen and the complete refurbishment of the bathrooms, along with upgraded technical systems and finishes. The project explored the balance between a bold pop character and formal restraint, avoiding excess while maintaining coherence across all areas of the home.
At the heart of the project is a bespoke pop-inspired interior design, shaped by strong colour contrasts and distinctive material choices.
Herringbone parquet flooring provides an elegant and continuous foundation, over which essential volumes and clean surfaces are composed. The purity of the lines is enriched by colourful, pop design elements that break up material rigidity and make each space feel more personal and welcoming.
The custom-designed total black kitchen is enhanced by chromatic accents that soften its visual impact and establish a dialogue with the rest of the home. The fully renovated bathrooms combine stone-effect gres and marble-inspired surfaces, creating contemporary, tactile environments.
In the living and sleeping areas, iconic lighting pieces, bold furniture, and vibrant colour accents bring rhythm to the spaces, maintaining a careful balance between character and functionality.

For this Milan renovation, Capponi Group acted as the single point of contact, overseeing the entire process from executive design coordination to construction management and procurement control.
The early definition of materials, finishes, and technical solutions ensured full consistency between design intent and final execution, guaranteeing high-quality delivery and adherence to schedule within the dynamic context of Milan’s urban environment.
The renovation of the Milan apartment has resulted in a contemporary space with a strong, distinctive identity, where pop-inspired details, herringbone parquet flooring, a total black kitchen, and tactile bathroom finishes define a clear and recognisable character.
Vibrant colours, iconic lighting, and bespoke furnishings introduce energy without compromising balance or functionality. The result is a coherent, dynamic, and highly personal home, perfectly aligned with the creative spirit of the Solari district.
