Light, white and Mediterranean landscape
The renovation of this apartment in Sanremo revolves around one defining presence: the sea. Natural light, large openings and panoramic views become integral parts of the project, while the interior design creates a continuous dialogue with the Mediterranean landscape.
Capponi Group oversaw the renovation and interior design, creating bright and welcoming spaces where white meets the warmth of wood, carefully selected furnishings and Mediterranean vegetation that accompanies the transition from the home to the outdoor spaces.

The design challenge was to make the most of the apartment’s distinctive features, placing natural light and the sea views of Sanremo at the heart of the living experience.
The spaces were designed to preserve an open visual relationship with the landscape through a careful selection of furnishings, finishes and openings. The aim was to avoid weighing down the interiors and allow light to naturally define atmospheres and depth.
The terrace thus becomes a natural extension of the home, strengthening the relationship between the interiors and the landscape.
The project revolves around a light, luminous palette, where the white of the interiors dialogues with wood, textile textures and a selection of furnishings and decorative details.
In the living area, dining space and kitchen share an open, bright space designed to fully embrace the sea view. Light, understated furnishings keep the landscape in the spotlight, while rugs, seating and decorative objects introduce texture and personal accents.
The kitchen is integrated into the space through an essential, discreet composition characterised by light surfaces and wooden details. The same visual lightness continues into the sleeping area, where natural light enters directly from the terrace and accompanies the more private spaces of the home.
Outside, the project takes on a more Mediterranean character. The terrace is defined by tactile surfaces, essential furnishings and large planters. Bougainvillea, Mediterranean plants and lush vegetation contrast with the white architecture, creating a domestic landscape that frames the sea.

Capponi Group oversaw the renovation and interior design through an integrated approach, coordinating architectural, material and furnishing choices as part of a single vision.
The relationship with the context remained the guiding principle throughout the project: every choice was made to enhance natural light, the sea view and the continuity between the home and the terrace.
The apartment is now a bright and welcoming home, where the boundary between indoors and outdoors becomes increasingly subtle.
White, wood and Mediterranean vegetation create a discreet backdrop for the true protagonist of the project: the view of the sea in Sanremo.
