A new collaboration for the very first shop of the Bergamo-based brand Linea Daria in the historic part of the city centre.
Linea Daria is a brand and creative studio based in Bergamo with which Capponi General Contractor team had the pleasure of collaborating in autumn 2022. After six months as a temporary store, Linea Daria decided to confirm its residence in Sant’Orsola Street (Bergamo) and asked us to take part in the challenge by designing and building their first “home”. In mid-June 2022, we began the transformation of the space via Sant’orsola 27,
working hand in hand with its founder and creative director in order to give it a new identity, design and branding image. Our common aim was to make it a reflection of the universe of creativity and wonder that characterises Linea Daria, without sacrificing any practical side or technical aspect.
Step-by-step, we defined the guidelines for the entire renovation, involving Linea Daria online community along the way. Through efficient communication and collaboration, we were able to create a large retail space, a shipping and logistics section, a study and a small office, turning a concept store into a “home” for all their projects.
In line with the whimsical and exuberant spirit of Linea Daria, the carpeted floor is now a pink and white ceramic chessboard, embellished with light blue joints. The large display windows are glossy white. Steel relays fixed to the walls in the dressing room give depth and provide a playful vibe. Bright yellow, baby blue and baby pink dominate the main room, which is lit up by spotlights, giving off a warm feeling.
At the back, where old shelves used to hang, we have created a workspace to allow the team to follow all the agency’s projects while working alongside/near the commercial party/department. The result is a functional and irreverent concept store with a European feel, characterised by contrasting pastel tones, bright spaces, industrial features and lots of imagination.
Hard work, professionalism and experience allowed our Capponi general contractor team to win a race against time, completing the entire makeover a week ahead of schedule: in roughly 15 days.
